George;

I was hoping to get to Whilfest this year but my mother's birthday was on November 18th, so I took the day off and spent it with her. By the way my mother turned 88 and is doing great!

Tom

>>>>>How come I never bumped into you at Whilfest, Fred? Or is it because I spent so much time in the bar when I was outside of it, I don't remember who I met?:-)

>>>>Must have been too much bar time, George. ;) I spoke with you on several different occasions at Whilfest.

>>>< vbg >. Yeah, that must've been it. Seriously, I met so many people in those three days, it's tough to remember who I did and didn't meet (unless, of course, we spent some serious time in the bar< g >).
>>
>>You were the big mystery for the first couple of days. Several of us were beginning to wonder if you were real or just a figment of our imaginations. < g >

>I've always wondered that myself.< s >

>I got in late (missed the keynote) Sunday. On the way to register I met Claudio, Mark and Ken. I ran into Andy, Marcia, Dave (among others in the) bar that evening. Had some great conversation with Andy. On Monday night, Dave (the Rams fan) and George (the Bears fan) watched the Rams and Bears. I also spent a good deal of time talking with Rick.

>>I spent quite a few hours in the bar myself. But at least I remember who I spoke with (at least I *think* I do) ;)
