I am getting this error under strange conditions. I built this web service using the SOAP toolkit version 3. All the local client computers have at least installed the version 3 of the SOAP toolkit. Some computers get this error and some run fine. All the Soap DLLs are the same version. The odd thing is that when my laptop is connected to the network where this server resides (even though the IPs are local 192.168,... the webservice works great. However, when I take my laptop home and connect to the internet from there, I also get this error.
I have given the IUSER_computername and the IWAM_computername account the read, read and execute, and list security rights. I have verified that the .wsdl file is scripted to the soapisapi.dll.
What am I missing? Why do some computers work and some don't?
