Version 8 of VFP, which should ship within the next month, will help. You can surface events in other applications (COM servers), not just VFP. I've written a little app that monitors Outlook and whenever a reminder pops up, it intercepts the message and sends it to my phone in a text message. You can download the beta from MS for fee.
