Yes there is. But it depends on which FONT you use.
Not all Microsoft fonts support the Euro.
I found some upgrade font packs to add the € symbol (Ctrl+Alt+4 on my keyboard).
Plus there was an NT upgrade pack to add suppor for the keystroke.
ASC("€") returns 128 on my desktop XP machine.
