Do everything, but the java the way you are currently doing it. Rather than having your java inside your .prg move the java out to a separate file and then textmerge the content of that file into your html file with

\\<<filetostr( "myjava.js" )>>

Personally I think it's stupid that javascript is case sensitive for language keywords.
