Tom;
If you are using Visual Studio 6.0 Visual Interdev and ASP feel free to ask me questions. I may have an answer and I am sure other UT members will be able to assist you. I am in the process of learning .NET and have a long way to go but it is really fun - so far! :)
Let me know something about your project and perhaps I can offer some suggestions. I think I have pushed ASP to its limit and have been using it for over three years. It is a corporate standard where I work and as such I have no choice in the matter. My latest project has 173 forms and uses SQL Server 2000 as a backend. Now I am off to create some more forms. Oh well, it pays the bills and that is what keeps me going. :)
By the way Windows 2000 Professional or XP Professional are good sources for IIS. At home I run Win 98 with PWS, Win 2000 and XP with IIS.
If you are interested I will outline some of the features, behaviour and direction I took in developing ASP. I love VFP and here I am doing ASP. Be sure you do not tell anyone! :)
Tom
