I'm planning to add a LINUX (redhat8) File server to a network with an NT4 server and Win2K workstations.

This is a small business client, and I provide remote support. Backups and restores should be easy for the client to perform.

What's the easiest way to back up the servers? Can I back up the files on the LINUX box using the NT backup SW, or do I need SW that knows both NT and Linux???

Also, how do I decide whether to use tape backup or Writable DVD?
