Hi

I just recently upgraded to Windows XP. My USB CD-Writer works with Windows' own built-in cd-writing function, and with RecordNow, HP's own burning software. But when I tried to use Nero, the app could not detect any writable cd-drive (just the Nero Image Recorder is selectable).

I downloaded the latest drivers from HP's website, but Windows won't install them because they're not newer than the already installed ones. I consulted Nero's website but it wasn't much help.

Nero worked with my previous Win ME installation, though, and I would prefer to use Nero over RecordNow and especially WinXP's own utility.

Here's my (relevant) specs:
- Windows XP SP1 (clean install)
- HP 8200e CD-Writer USB (came out before WinXP, I think, but the box said works on Win2000)
- Nero 5.5.10

Thanks!
