I have an application that uses an excel template file. This is on our server that is LAN/WAN connected to the end-users. A VFP form, textbox is used to allow the user to change the directory. All had been working well, but now there is some odd behavior.
Entering C:\ABC.XLS works fine on both the LAN and WAN connections.
D:\ABC.XLS works fine on both the LAN and WAN connections.
A:\Directory\ABC.XLS works fine on the LAN (Not tested on WAN)
A:\ABC.XLS OLE Errors on both LAN and WAN
A:ABC.XLS works on LAN but errors on WAN

The template file was recently updated and is full of macros. Could the macros becausing this strange behavior?
We are going to test this theory as soon as we can by replacing the template XLS with the old one.

TIA

Harold
