>>Jaggi Singh is an interesting guy. He is a high profile peaceful protester in Canada. In Dec he travelled to Israel but was refused entry. He fought that in court and won. Then they barred him from Palestine, but he went anyway since international law says Israel has no jurisdiction over Palestine. Earlier today he was taken away by undercover Israeli police and put into jail. Interesting. This guy know how to work the media.

>Mind boggling. Israel has no legal right to prohibit a non-citizen from visiting a different country just as Canada would have no right to prevent me from leaving Canada to visit another coutry outside the USA like Cuba for example. It may be illegal in the USA [which it is] for me to visit Cuba, but Canada does not have jurisdiction to enforce a US law against me. Of course if you are a Castro sympathizer, it is perfectly OK for a US citizen to travel to Cuba. < g >

He has taken these actions to provoke just this kind of response from us. He is quite good at what he does.
