Go into Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs and run a repair installation of VFP8. This will restore file associations to VFP8 and may solve your problem. There's a utility to restore VFP file associations in the product but <g>, I'm at home and can't find it now.
>I installed the VFP 8 beta on the same Win2K machine with VFP 7, and occassionally had both running at the same time. No problem, I could easily tell them apart because the fox heads were different. And now they aren't...Well, sort of. All the file associations for Fox 8 have reverted back to the fox 7 icons. Using Change Icon on the shortcut to Fox 8 shows only the Fox 7 icons inside it.
