The VFP report writer doesn't have any native way to print text vertically instead of horizontally. You have to resort to graphics or RTF stuff which isn't that easy.

Bar codes are nothing more than a special font .. but again .. the VFP report writer won't let you print vertical.

You might want to look into another report engine such as Rich Simpson's new one or one of the other commercial products.
