In Wine, you map a Windows serial port (Com1, Com2, etc.) to a Linux
device (ttyS0, ttyS1, etc.) Shouldn't be a problem but I haven't actually tried it.

There's a FTP command in VFP? I'll have to research how we may interact with native Linux commands and scripts from Wine... wonder if its even possible. That could be pretty powerful though.

I use BLAT.EXE, which works beautifully for me. Haven't tried it in Wine though...
