Yes, thanks- I did see your response- only the amended one, not the original one. My overriding need is to send e-mail without using Outlook or Outlook Express. There is an intermittent but deadly problem that runs overnight processing- Outlook sometines whacks the server to the point where it has to be re-booted, not a good or happy situation.

Using SMTP would be fine by us, but the bottom line is that we need a solution RIGHT AWAY. At the moment, a developer has to login to a remote server at 2:00 AM to monitor the server to ensure that everything is going along fine. This isn't healthy or productive or amusing.

I'm now looking at the Mabry control. Thanks for pointing it out to me.
