>Rick,
>My company actually uses WWWC and wwIPStuff for a system we wrote, so I've seen the documentation on the wwImaging component. This JPEG resizing need comes from a personal project that I'm working on. We've had good success with your products, so purchasing a personal copy of wwClientTools is definitely an option.
Well you can upgrade wwIPStuff to Client tools which is cheaper too.
>I programmed in C for a while, but moved on to Foxpro and never spent any time learning C++. Roughly how much time do you think I'd have to invest looking at C++ and the GDI+ documentation to build a wrapper for the GDI+ functions to do some simple image manipulation?
It's not terribly difficult - I think I spent about a day on all the functions and various niceties. THe docs are scarce, but it's all in MSDN. The actual functions are almost trivial. Getting at the appropriate encoders takes a little more work although there's sample code provided in GDI+ docs.
