on the other hand you could also work with table buffering, and the same rules apply where a workstation crash, server problem, or a TableRevert() will not update the tables. I work with Vfp6 and choosed not to use dbc's because in my initial testing i had problems with corrupted dbc's and had difficulty rebuilding the tables and databases.
