We have a client that runs Pro 6.5 Build 2501. They have a server running Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3 and Citrix XP.

As users begin processing, one will crash out of Pro Series, no messages, effectively disappears off the screen. The files that the user had open at the time are then locked by the operating system and VFP interprets them as being opened exclusively. Because of this all other users subsequently begin encountering errors due to being unable to share data.

To correct it we have to log all users out of Pro Series, then have the network administrator use Citrix to clear out all active sessions. Sometimes we have to reboot the server. Doing both these is extremely difficult as the server in question runs several other business applications for in total several hundred users so we can't just restart the server at will.

We have implemented the registry settings recommened for disabling Oplocks on the server without any impact on the problem.

We have around 20 concurrent users in total, but often around 10 when the crash occurs for the first user.

Does anyone have anything they might suggest as we are at our wits end.
