Try to call dlg.SetActiveWindow(). If it will not help, then tell me please, is your dialog modal and when are you trying to activate dialog.

I have dealt with: SetFocus(dlg.m_hWnd); but it does not activate the window, having to activate it in manual form, this happens because I use a previous form that creates a species of splash screen for the application. once finished this, the following window (dlg) appears but this not selected, having to do it manually. somebody has tip about that?
