What's even sadder (and possibly very arrogant) is why Bill Gates should consider that anyone would want to read about his views on the game of bridge.
While I agree that reporters should not be creating news, the best reporters actively try to ask the questions that should be asked, rather than report what is fed to them. While the big issues surrounding BG are the investigations into MS's possible abuses of power, then, IMO, any good reporter will be asking questions about that rather than something so inconsequential as bridge.
