Once you install the Access ODBC driver on the target machine, your remote should work depending on how you set you your connection to the MDB on your development machine. If you created an ODBC DSN through the ODBC Administrator Control Panel, you will have to create an ODBC DSN on the target machine and give the DSN the same name.

If download my ODBC DSN class from http://www.mctweedle.com/downloads/odbc_dsn.zip, you can see examples of how to create DSNs using VFP code. Once you learn how to do that, you can include this in your VFP apps and let your code do this for you.

>The Access ODBC driver was not installed so I installed it. I don't know if it matters, but when I open ODBC in Control Panel, only MQIS, VFP Database and VFP tables show under User data sources.
>There is no error message. The form simply will not open when selected from a menu.
>I don't use a connection string. The remote view is setup in the D.E. of the form.
>I case you havn't figured it out, I'm a rank amateur and havn't used ODBC in an app before.
>Thanks for your help.

>The MDB file is located on the machine where I developed the app.
