I see that the price is now $50. But Chris still gives you royalty free distrib rights with apps you build as long as you follow (what I think are) some very reasonable restrictions.

Overall, I _highly_ recommended it. It's easy to create a class wrapper around the API function calls and give yourself a robust object-oriented library of image processing functions.
