I have a grid with a date value in a textbox. When the date is empty, the field appears with both slashes against the left side, except for the currently active row which appears '__/__/____' as desired. I've tried setting format D, inputmask '99/99/9999', or both, in both the column and the textbox itself. How can I make empty date marks line up with valued dates, or failing that, suppress the slashes completely?
