Sounds like it could be a video driver problem, or a VFP version problem. 5.0a is quite the grandpa these days! You might still be able to get the service packs for version 5 on Microsoft's support site.

I've noticed after more testing that if the list is dropped-down, when the page is changed programatically it will show just the list portion on the next page, but not the control. Its as if there is a fragment of the control that is left on the screen.
