i think that it is far more likely that vfp will "earn" a .net connected tag than be a full part of .net, none the less it does not take away from the popular view that vfp is not at the forefront of MS thinking and most probably never will be. the only way i feel that vfp will grow is by us, the vfp user groups, showing other, especially those new to programming, the power of vfp over the more popular application development tools, which most agree are no where near as good as vfp.

I feel that **IF** VFP can 'earn' a ".NET Connected" logo, then it will have a very positive impact.
