thanks for sending WinIO. I could access www.internals.com lateron and downloaded WinIO.

Sepp had success using it. He could trigger LEDs connected to the parallel port and usage seems to be straightforward.

I have not yet had time to try the OCX from
www.jspayne.com/io/home.html

I tried to integrate WinIO in a VBProj, but I got "only" VS .Net installed on my laptop and it complained about two OCXes not fond.
I got VS6 on a different machine and I´ll try to integrate WinIO in a new VBP (6) soon.
