Hi,

Having built a custom OSP (OLE DB Simple Provider) provider, I would like
to use this provider in MS-Access 2000 for ad hoc
queries and updates against a proprietary file format, just as I could if
I, for instance, linked a DBF file or SQL Server database table.

Does anyone have an example and/or more information or reference pointers
to help me do this? I think I've scoured publicly available
documentation.

I am able to access and manipulate the data programmatically, but cannot
find a way to make it available to the standard Access tools. I'm trying
to avoid a large amount of programming, but am willing to do it if it
gets my users access to ad hoc querying and updating tools for OLE DB (not just ODBC) in Access.

Thank you for any assistance,

Richard
