If you type 'SAU' realy fast it will go to the line that starts with 'SAU'. The time interval that VFP waits for the next charater is controlled by _INCSEEK System Variable in VFP7 and _DBLCLICK in previous version. You can set _DBLCLICK in the GotFocus of the control and restore in LostFocus.

It goes to the first one that starts with an 'S' then goes to the first record that starts with a 'A'. Is there a way to make it move to the first one that starts with both letters, as in "SAUl"?
