You may have already discovered this, but in the Database tab of the Options dialog in Crysal 9, you can uncheck Show Stored Procedures and the database will open properly. I am working with MS not to determine why a .dbc with many stored procedure crashes Crystal 9. It also crashes the ADO query tool available at
http://gpoulose.home.att.net/ (this is a very nifty tool)
