Michel,

Nick (I think) editted the message and took out the PRE tag. The original poster copied some paragraph text from another website and put a PRE tag around it which caused the message to need a huge amount of horizontal scrolling.

It would be nice to be able to use a FONT tag too in order to hilight parts of a post to give a different form of emphasis than we can get using only I and B right now.

>For BLOCKQUOTE, I'll have to see about it. However, for TABLE, it won't be unlock as this would cause several bad alignments if users are using it without a proper use. This will also make really weird displays in some cases as there is already a lot of tables in the message display. Some would know how to use it but some others would really make bad use of it. So, as we can't rely on that, that's why it has always been blocked. The PRE tag serves for code input and it has always work well. BLOCKQUOTE might be added. I have to make some tests first to see on some potential impacts. As for the Sergey's message you made reference, I haven't seen it but if it is a PRE tag in reference to a code, and if that code is really too wide, then the member should chop the line into multiple lines such as using the continuous character in VFP to skip to the next line. If the PRE tag is used for something else than code, then, it's not a good use to use the PRE tag for that as it will cause bad
>alignment as this is expected for code. I've seen some members using that tag to highlight text. This is bad as it's not the expected use of the PRE tag to be used like that.
