>Does anyone have any suggestions for books on how to go from Fox2x to Visual Fox 7? I want something that will give me some info on old code converted into the new code and how to use visual effectively and efficiently.

There are no books on conversions per se. In fact, you shouldn't do a conversion but this is the time for a complete re-write, taking advantage of OOP, etc.

You would not be happy with a recompile and no changes, as VFP is a completely different animal than the old Fox2x. Start by trying to understand how OOP works and the basic VFP object model. There are good samples that come with VFP 7 in the samples dir and also in the FoxPro FOundation CLasses (FFC). You can get to them with DO (_gallery).

For help, look at the fox wiki: http://fox.wikis.com
For books, there is The Fundamentals (and many other good VFP books) at http://www.hentzenwerke.com

If you have specific questions on a piece of code, please post it and we'll try to help.
