Hi Mel:

I have done as you instructed and I am seeing the same behaviour.

>I would appreciate if a few CodeMine users who are using the latest CodeMine 7.1a beta to test and try something for me. Dave a CodeMine said he has not heard of this, however I can duplicate it on two different computers and am stumped.
>
>I moved to the latest release of CodeMine beta (I am using VFP 7, not VFP 8) and in tracing backwards, that is when I started having a problem with the mouse HourGlass appearing anytime a new Form is opened, or even the Logon Screen. I have to touch the mouse to clear it.
>
>So, today I selected the CodeMine Create New Application and created a new application, and made no changes to it, but rather just built it and re-compiled all its files, and ran it. Sure enough - at the Logon screen I get the same mouse HourGlass waiting for a Mouse press. Up till this point I assumed there might be something in one of my two apps that exhibit this behavior, but one of my apps is only one Form - and does nothing fancy anywhere.
>
>I then decided to downgrade back to CodeMine 7 (final releaes June 3, 2002), and re-compiled all files. Sure enough, the mouse HourGlass behavior dis-appears in all apps.

>So, I re-installed the 7.1a beta.... and again the mouse HourGlass problem reappears.

>I would appreciate if one of you CodeMine people using the 7.1a beta would create a new application, don't make any changes to it, then build and run it to see if you get this mouse HourGlass behavior. You will need to build it twice, because the first time in it will require company name, etc. Then, the 2nd time after you start the build in the VFP Build Options dialog, just let the mouse go... and leave the mouse pointer in the center of your desktop. In this scenerio, on my computer the mouse HourGlass just stays there till I touch the mouse when the Logon screen appears.
