This works, but it means I have to first identify every type of file extension I want to open with MODIFY FILE and have wrap off.

And this doesn't work with distributed applications that incorporate MODIFY FILE (my primary complaint) ... you then have to use a FOXUSER kludge (again).

I'd simply like to see something like MODIFY FILE .... NOWRAP
