As soon as new EXE is uploaded to network, old EXE will never run again. The loader app will always check for existance of a newer EXE on network, and if one exits, new EXE is dragged down and replaces old EXE. Then new EXE is launched.
IMO, dragging runtime through network is only viable on very small network with tons of bandwith. On a busy corporate LAN, like the one I support, would be impractical.
Also, installing EXE on client allows you to employ a local database. This is great for persisting views, user information and static data that doesn't need to be dragged through network wasting bandwith.
