If you go to search and type "oExcel" you will get a list of messages that demonstrate some of the stuff others are doing.
If you're just getting started with automation, read Hilmars:
http://www.levelextreme.com/Magazine/September2002/Page45.aspVFP 7 Help has some automation tips. It sounds like you need to use Excel Automation because the COPY TO ... XLS will not transfer all the data. Start with Hilmar's article. Then we can move on to some of the specific stuff you need to do.
Most of us use the Excel macro recorder and (in most cases) paste the code we need into our VFP programs.
