Sorry, my last reply slipped out of my hands. My machine is 550mz / 384MB RAM and not much else running. Cleaning up after 3000 or so records takes about a second or two. When I have 16000 records the delay jumps up quite a lot. Maybe the listview is not designed for so many records.
