Ah, that was it. I had tried that before, but it appeared that my method was not firing. I went back and put a simple wait window in my method and it did indeed fire everytime that the record pointer moved. So now I just have the method call in AfterNav and AfterRevert.
In some cases, it appeared that the method was not firing. It ended up being an ActiveX control that was not firing its update procedure. I added a doevents at the beginning of my method and now everything is zooming right along.
