Don't discard the notion of having the data objects adapt the data source to Fox cursors. They're easy to manipulate. The UI is designed for them, after all, and it's relatively clean to get Fox, XML, SQL server, Excel *g* into a cursor. The problem with this is, of course, getting between physical tiers.

Don't get me wrong. I like the ADO data model a lot. I just think it's awkward to work with in Fox UIs.
