I'm writing a little utility which will read / add some values from / to the Codemine registry. To track my progress along the way (since I'm the one who'll be using the utility), I want to use some oMessage.Inform messages to give some feedback as the program processes.

The program is compose of one screen with a WindowType = 2 (Top-level Form) and I've followed all of Dave's suggestions in the document and example he has on the web site. In fact, I've written and put into production several of these one-screen beauties before, but never tried to display messages from the Init and Load methods.

When I code the messages to use MessageBox(), they are displayed fine. However, I'm trying for something a bit more elegant using my Codemine.

Either I'm missing something or there seems to be a problem with the way the Inform and Severe messages are displayed from the cmMsgMan classlib when they are being called from a Top-Level form.

Does anyone have any insight as to what may be going on?

TIA.
