What do you mean by "push?" My FPW2.6 still works just fine so I can't say I was "pushed" into a new version by anything other than my desire to have whatever was new. I know one person who still works extensively in FoxPro for DOS.

You've said that the improvements between some versions weren't enough, in your eyes, to warrant the upgrade. As far as I can see you could continue to use whatever version you had at the time and not upgrade until you personally were ready to.
