Hello Gary;
I will not attempt to speak for Jim, but he and I do tend to be realistic when we find a problem with VFP. We both have expressed our findings and have upset specific individuals for daring to comment on such issues! Some of the responses have been personal attacks, which I believe were not warranted and speak poorly of the individuals who engaged in such rhetoric.
I see nothing wrong with stating a problem even though it has upset several people from time to time. The intent of discussing a problem is not to attack the “Holy Grail” but to let others know of your findings. Perhaps something was overlooked in the way we approached a solution or perhaps there is room for concern.
VFP is not a religion but do not tell that to certain individuals around here. Not everyone thinks alike and it is nice to engage in a technical discussion. A lot can be learned by asking questions or telling others what has worked for you.
Have a good weekend.
Tom
