Here are some ways to approach reports in VFP 6. There are several ways to use VFP 6, etc. to allow users to modify reports, create reports or data sources. One way is to use a product like FoxFire and another is to create your own – which is something I have done for another company. One thing I have never done is to use the data environment of a report. My preference is to use select statements and let the user drop in a key word, date range, etc. for a lookup.
