Hi Gary. After a lot of digging, especially through the error handling mechanisms of Codemine, I now think the error message is misleading. I think the 'PARENT is not a object' is actually an error generated during error handling, AFTER the real error occurs. So now I'm trying to figure out what the real error is.

I'm thinking it has to do with paths, and that the COM server can't find the tables, because I can instantiate the class directly in VFP, I just can't start it as a COM server.

Anyway, now that I know the PARENT error isn't the real error, I will keep searching.
