Hi,

I recently migrated a vfp - web application to a computer running XP prof (my first XP app). I find that when one of my modules attempts to write a file in a virtual directory, I receive a "file access denied" error. When I go to the physical directory that I am attemptimg to write to, the read-only attribute is checked. If I attempt to un-check the attribute it appears as if the modification took. But when I return to see if the attribute modification took I find that the read-only attribute is still checked. What am I missing here? This was never a problem when the application ran on windows 2000 server. Please note that I am logged on as administrator.

Regards,
Neil
