That is well and good if the customer truly has a technical requirement for the solution to be delivered by CD. So far you haven't given any indication that that is the case.
If I were in your shoes I would still pitch them a Web solution. This is a classic example of an opportunity to offer a client a *better* solution than they were originally requesting. It gives you a chance to shine, stand out from the herd.
If a client is unwilling to accept a better solution, you've got to ask yourself, do you really want to work with such a client? Do you think they'll listen to you later on in a business relationship?
In my experience, it's *never* a bad thing to offer a client a better solution.
If they're dead set on a CD, give them one with a script that creates a link to your site in their "Favourites" list ;-)
