Hi Victor,

in addition to what David said, it helps to be aware of the following:

1) when you set Multiple checkouts on, you want to do it only for the period of time that you are joining the project, unless you like merging.

2) if you never ended up checking the pjm all the way in, there would be no problem setting MCO off later; but I've seen VSS check it all the way in for me.

3) so that leads to creating entries in srcsafe.ini for each project that marks each project directory as MCO on, in the following manner:
[$/ProSysPlus/xc2vpm]
Multiple_Checkouts = Yes
4) which is fine, except that all sub-directories below that will be MCO on also, and you won't want that, so you also need similar lines after the first marking the child directories as MCO off.

5) an implication of the above is that you won't want anything in the top application directory that is in VSS except PJM. The PJX, etc. aren't actually in VSS, so that's no problem.
