Does anyone know how to access the DoubleClick even in a datagrid after it has datarows in it?

I'd like to respond to a DoubleClick event in a grid, however after filling the datagrid the datagrid.DoubleClick event only fires on the border areas, not in the columns or rows themselves. This true whether or not there is a TableStyles collection. I've gottem myself a bit lost in the Help screen cross-references involved in trying to work this out.
