Like the others have said, make sure that you use:

1) the correct name of the grid and column
2) the correct containership of the grid (ie yours might be on a page of a pageframe)

If it's a containership issue and you have code in a button at the same containership level you should replace thisform with this.parent

>I think your code is more along the lines of what I am looking for. The problem is that when I try the .column1.controlsource the code errors off because column1.controlsource is not a property or unknown member. Do you have any other suggestions?
