I need some help. I am creating a vb.net smart device application that will run on a symbol PPT 2800 Pocket PC. I am actually developing it with .NET 2003! Here is my problem. Using embedded visual basic, you can download a scanner control to add to the toolbox to add to a form to activate the scanner. This control however is not a .NET assembly, so if I add it to the toolbox, it shows up disabled. So I assume it is useless. Does anyone think there might be a workaround. Maybe through the coredll.dll or something? Or does anyone have any advice to give me as to where I might be able to find a way to activate the scanner?
