Hi Fabian,

.NET does not replace COM+. Instead, .NET provides access to COM+ functionality via the System.EnterpriseServices namespace. ADO.NET transactions are not the same as COM+ transactions. ADO.NET transactions are connection-based, and span only one database at a time. COM+ transactions use MSDTC to facilitate transactions, and can span multiple databases.

>What is the replacement of COM+ under the .NET hood? Is there such a thing or Microsoft does not have anything for that yet?
