Surprise and condolences from me, also. Ed has been a big help to me a number of times over the years, usually with non-VFP problems, such as hardware, networking, and OS configurations.
In fact, I don't recall ever meeting one individual who knew so much in so many technical areas as did Ed. He will indeed be missed.
